Bamberg, South Carolina (October 13, 2025) – The Bamberg County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Bamberg Police Department proudly hosted the 2025 National Night Out on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Bamberg County Sheriff’s Office, located at 509 North Street in Bamberg.
Residents from across Bamberg County came out for an evening filled with fun, food, and fellowship, joining law enforcement officers and community partners from across South Carolina to celebrate unity and strengthen relationships between police and the communities they serve.
The family-friendly event featured games, music, and opportunities for residents to meet with local deputies and officers, fostering trust and partnership through positive interaction.
“Events like National Night Out remind us that community safety is a shared responsibility,” said Regina Gatling, Chief of the City of Bamberg Police Department. “When neighbors and law enforcement come together in fellowship, we build stronger, safer communities for everyone.”
Bamberg County Sheriff Kenneth Bamberg added, “Seeing our community come out to enjoy time together, support local law enforcement, and engage in open conversation means a great deal. We are thankful for everyone who participated and helped make this event such a success.”
